GAME4CHANGE Consortium Advances Climate Education Initiatives in Third Online Meeting
On January 15, 2025, the GAME4CHANGE project consortium convened its third online meeting to further the development of digital serious games aimed at enhancing climate change education.
Key Outcomes of the Meeting:
Project Management (WP1)
The consortium addressed partner agreements alongside organizational and financial matters. A significant focus was placed on establishing benchmarks and indicators to effectively monitor project evaluation.
Desk Research Progress (WP2)
Each partner provided updates on their desk research activities, outlining the steps taken and plans for future work.
Brand Identity and Social Media Presence (WP4)
Design changes to the project logo were agreed upon to better represent the consortium’s mission. Discussions also encompassed the creation of an official project webpage and the establishment of social media channels to enhance visibility and outreach.
Preparations for Upcoming In-Person Meeting
The consortium confirmed plans for a face-to-face meeting scheduled for February 13-14, 2025, at Harokopio University in Athens, Greece.
Next Steps in Project Development
Activities under WP3, focusing on the GAME4CHANGE Digital Toolset, will be led by Xenios Polis Culture, Science and Action (Greece) and LIM Srl Unipersonale (Italy).
The GAME4CHANGE consortium remains dedicated to advancing environmental education through innovative digital solutions and anticipates continued collaboration in the forthcoming phases of the project.
Funded by the Erasmus+ KA220-HED Programme, the project is coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal) and includes partners from Greece, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, and the Netherlands.
