GAME4CHANGE Presented at VI International Summer School in Poznań

The interim results of the GAME4CHANGE – Digital Serious Games for Climate Change Education Erasmus+ project were presented during the VI International Summer School for Ph.D. students “Scientific Excellence – Origins, Research, Results”, held at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, on October 20–23, 2025.

The presentation and dedicated GAME4CHANGE workshop were delivered by teams from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Adam Mickiewicz University, engaging Ph.D. participants in discussions on innovative approaches to environmental education.

GAME4CHANGE aims to empower academic staff in the use of serious games and gamification strategies in courses to combat climate change impacts. The project also focuses on engaging and training higher education students through methodologies and tools aligned with their everyday digital experience. In addition, it supports the development of innovative learning resources, awareness-raising frameworks, curricula, dissemination activities, mobile applications, and advanced networking and personalised information tools.

The event provided an important platform for sharing project progress, fostering international collaboration, and promoting innovative teaching practices in climate change education.

GAME4CHANGE stands for “Digital Serious Games for Climate Change Education”. This Erasmus+ KA220-HED project aims to develop digital serious games for climate change education, enhancing awareness and engagement through innovative educational tools.

GAME4CHANGE runs for two years, includes seven prestigious partners from five European countries, and is coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal).
