GAME4CHANGE Presented at
International Environmental Journalism Training in Rome
Prof. Bogdana Nosova from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv presented the results of the Erasmus+ GAME4CHANGE – Digital Serious Games for Climate Change Education project during the EJTA Teachers’ Training 2025: “Teaching Environmental Journalism”, held in Rome, Italy, on May 21–23, 2025.
Organized by Sapienza University of Rome’s Department of Communication and Social Research in cooperation with the European Journalism Training Association, the workshop brought together hundreds of journalists, media professionals, trainers, and academics from around the world.
During her presentation, Prof. Bogdana Nosova highlighted GAME4CHANGE as an Erasmus+ initiative promoting environmental awareness through serious games in higher education institutions. The project aims to create lasting impact by developing innovative learning resources adaptable for courses on environmental topics, and to establish a network that facilitates knowledge-sharing among universities to enhance environmental education. She also delivered a talk on “Ukrainian Media on Strategies for the Restoration of Ecosystems and Natural Landscapes.”
GAME4CHANGE stands for “Digital Serious Games for Climate Change Education”. This Erasmus+ KA220-HED project aims to develop digital serious games for climate change education, enhancing awareness and engagement through innovative educational tools.
GAME4CHANGE runs for two years, includes seven prestigious partners from five European countries, and is coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal).
